Chris took The Boy shooting, for probably the last time before deploying, the other day. Actually, we really need to go when *I* can go too, because I need to know what to do! LOL I would be clueless… and Nikolas isn’t going to want to wait a whole YEAR before shooting again.

So he got shoot his own .22 rifle, a .410 caliber shotgun and a 9mm semi-automatic pistol…. Chris says the 9mm had more of a kick than Nikolas was expecting. hehehe!

Quite the little sportsman!
I really miss going to the range almost every day. There’s a rifle range very close to our house, but I no longer have any firearms, alas. You really should have Chris run you through some intensive safety lessons so you can take Nicholas (safely) while he’s gone.
My friend Wendell taught me – he used to be a Marine drill sergeant, as well as an NRA instructor – and he really got me to be hugely aware of where my trigger finger was at all times. He trained me so well, I don’t even put my finger on the “trigger” of power tools until I’m ready to use them.
